08 / Security & data
Stated intent, not claimed certification.
CoAcademic is an early-stage company. It holds no security or compliance certifications and will not imply otherwise. What follows is the data posture it intends to operate under, written so an institutional reviewer can hold it to account.
01Posture
How student work and process evidence are intended to be handled
Founding pilot scope
Process evidence is student work too
Drafts, planning notes, annotations, AI-use disclosures, and explanations are handled with the same care as the final artifact — they are evidence, not surveillance material.
Purpose-bound processing
Submissions are handled for the assessment task at hand. They are not used to train general models and are not repurposed for other work.
Scoped access
Access is limited to the faculty and staff assigned to the assessment, with access recorded rather than assumed.
Agreed retention
Retention periods and deletion are set with the department in writing before any submission is handled, not chosen unilaterally afterwards.
Institutional control
The institution decides what is uploaded, how long it stays, and when it is removed. Deletion means deletion, including from backups on a stated schedule.
No secondary use
No advertising, no resale, no profiling of students, and no analysis outside the assessment purpose agreed with the department.

03Preview status
This site processes nothing
The interfaces shown across this site are illustrative prototypes running on sample data. No student work is uploaded, stored, or processed by anything on these pages, and the founding-pilot form is disabled rather than connected.
The Founding Assessment Assurance Pilot
One course team, one assignment, one confirmed rubric — audited, calibrated, reviewed against evidence, and decided by faculty. Enrolment is not open; the page explains the intended scope and what a pilot would require from both sides.
